Rental Rate and Charges
Seaview Villa rents by calendar week, with check-in/out on Saturday. The weekly rate is $3,675. For parties of more than six persons, a $140/week surcharge is applied for each additional guest over six persons. Maximum occupancy is eight persons. A $150 cleaning fee is charged on all bookings. A refundable $500 damage deposit is required for all bookings.
Cancellation Policy
(i) For cancellations made 60 days or more before Arrival Date, Owner will refund all deposit payments received, less a $250 charge.
(ii) For cancellations made between 59 days and 30 days before Arrival Date, Owner will refund 100 percent of the Cleaning Fee and Additional-Guest Fee, and 50 percent of the Rental Fee.
(iii) For cancellations made later than 30 days before Arrival Date, Owner will refund only the Cleaning Fee and the Additional-Guest Fee.
(iv) No refund will be paid in the case of a late arrival, early departure, or a no show.
The refund provisions detailed above apply in all cases regardless of the reason(s) for cancellation, including but not limited to: (i) an existing or anticipated severe weather event; (ii) air travel cancellations and changes; (iii) a member of the Rental Party contracting or testing positive for COVID-19 or any other illness; (iv) inability or failure to obtain a Bahamas Travel Health Visa; and (v) any change in government-imposed travel requirements, including but not limited to requirements for entry into The Bahamas or for international travel to/from the United States or Canada.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND PURCHASING A CANCEL-FOR-ANY-REASON TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICY.
We strongly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance, especially for stays during the Atlantic hurricane season (June 1 – November 30). As noted in our Cancellation Policy, a cancellation of reservation due to a weather-related event (including a hurricane) is not an exception to our Cancellation Policy. Many travel insurance policies provide full reimbursement of non-refundable deposits for lodging and airfare if the insured cancels his/her travel due to a hurricane or other severe weather event. Additionally, you should consider purchasing a travel insurance policy with a “Cancel For Any Reason” (CFAR) provision if you are concerned about the risk of COVID-related flight cancellations, changes to the requirements for entry into The Bahamas, and/or changes to the requirements for return to your home country. Please note that many travel insurance policies with a CFAR provision require that the policy be purchased within 15 days or less of your first purchase or deposit payment made toward any part of your trip.
